All Rubi's have the 44's(other models have D30F/D44R). I'm just curious how they'll react to 470hp and larger tires. I want to say the D44's are good up to 37's on the 3.6 motor.

I'm honestly not sure though b/c I have researched Wranglers in a long time.

i had a jku but it was anemic on 35s. Haven’t looked much into the JLs because they’re absurdly expensive and FCA products are certainly not what they used to be.

Years ago, I looked at getting a Rubi. You couldn't get a bare bones one, so I passed. I didn't want all the fancy shit. Just the D44's and 241 tcase :D

That's one thing I'm glad Ford is doing with the Bronco.

Ah, shit......I forgot you were from the Wrangler world. There's honestly days I miss my TJ. That thing was 215K miles of no complaints(with regular maint). I knida lost "that loving feeling" once they went to a plastic grille and color matched tops. I hated them...……...along with the "new Jeepers" it brought into them  They were more of a status symbols than a utilitarian vehicle that I wanted them to be.

I wish more companies would offer better "pick and choose" options than having to buy a top of the line model to get certain things.

Yeah, it shouldn't be such a pain in the ass to get exactly what you want in a ~$30k+ purchase..

The hybrid and 392 rubis are likely to be $65-75k
For that kinda dough, I’m gettin a used g-wagen which are just as (if not more) capable and comfortable AF.

I’m still hunting for my lime green TJ..

The "packages" they do bug me too. 'Oh you can get heated seats but you're gonna have to pay for a moon roof, too.'
That kinda money, I'm getting a Cybertruck or a Badger.

Not sure how it is out your way but the charging network isn’t so great out here.

Also takes too long to charge.
