Nice. I've got 258hrs saved up. I really should use them  We can only bank 500hrs and then we either have to use it or lose it. We use to be able to cash it out, but they stopped that in 2020

Lol, just got a phone call. Apparently work thought I was supposed to be in tonight.
I have 60 something hours after this. Christmas falls on my weekend though so I'm not worried about that.

I've got over 1100hrs of long term sick leave(we have to use 40hrs of ETO before we can use it). They're cutting it to 1000hrs next year. I guess they're just gonna screw those of us with more hrs out of money we earned. They were suppose to do it this year, but so many people turned in their notice, they decided to hold off. I don't know what makes them think they won't be in the same boat next year. One of the nurses has almost 20K in long term sick leave that she's getting screwed out of. Those that are of retirement age get 100% of their long term. I'd imagine we're gonna see a lot quit at the end of 2021.

Yeah, that's a whole lot of fuck that.
I forget what we're capped at but iirc, we can still cash in PTO whenever.
We also have fixed, granted, and accrued. Only accrued rolls over, I think.
I just try to use the shit that doesn't rollover when I can.

Yeah, I'm not happy with it. I need to go by HR and ask. We've not really gotten a straight answer from our managers.

Yeah, I'd be double checking that shit with the DOL too to see how much of that is legit.

Damn Phil, can’t be that bad. One of my last nights we had a guy ran over in the road and all his crack fell out of his pocket.

I agree. If the office peeps would get here so I can bolt, would be nice.

I know how it feels my company would only let us bank 187.5 hours sick leave which I had they changed to PTO & took my 187.5 hours, not as bad as yours but still hurts & makes you wonder why you went in all those days that you felt like crap or the weather was perfect.
My GF had 875 hours sick & 260 vacation when the crap hit her company let her & 1 other go so they wouldn't have to pay out the sick & vacation & furloughed everyone else because they had no tome built up. That makes a lot of sense to me to get rid of the dependable employees & keep the ones who call in sick all the time.
