Nice, on both points. My Wife walked into a couple Airstreams, and quickly fell in love. Apparently that is what her standard basis, is now for a trailer. This guy has no monies for that.

Yeah good luck with that one. They’re mighty proud of those Airstreams. They’re built well but damn, I’ll take more space. Plus when the time comes I don’t want to have to polish that bastard. Lol

Been trying to diagnose the heater in mine. It just got 2 yrs old and the damn thing will light when you turn it on the first time. Then won’t fire up again after that cycle. Digging deeper I’m thinking it may be a relay or the overtemp switch is acting up. From the service manual it appears its going into a hard lock after the first cycle. Course the control board with the led on it to tell you what it’s doing is against the wall when installed so I can’t see it. The newer campers have a access door on the outside so you don’t have to pull the heater to work on them. Can also see the led with that access door. Lol. Fun times.

Thanks for the info! That's what I figured, but wanted to make sure. My thought is I don't use the radio antenna as is, so having something functioning that looks almost OEM would be great and I don't have to drill any extra holes.

EDIT: What's the recommended wattage for the radio itself? I've seen varying ones for sale. More wattage = more range?
Answered my own question, it does seem to be more range.

Off but awake, having a decent sized snow and wind storm tonight. power went out at 1730 while cooking dinner so a full pan of caprese chicken only cooked to 135*. Had to run out for pizza only to be detoured 30 min around the main road. Said f-it and went to bed after the kids went down and just woke up to everything being on in the house.
