I'll admit, if I am told "No gifts" I'd be in the same boat. Her ass wouldn't have a gift ...………………….this thread has taught me a lesson

 

I’ve been in the “no gifts” boat every year for the past 15. I always give a gift and rarely get shit but at the end of the day I’m not the asshole.

 

I guess that's why I'm "perpetually single." I ain't no minder reader and I ain't got time for games. I was happily married, but even happly-ier divorced . And once was enough.

 

On a side note. Never order shit from touch of modern. It’s a cool app with cool stuff but I ordered one of my wife’s Christmas gifts from there in November and it’s still not even on the radar.

 

I thought of something awesome on my drive home. I'm eventually doing an exhaust cutout once it's turbo time. If I could wire up the cutout to accept a momentary switch signal, and use the "mode" button on the steering wheel controls to be that switch... I want to keep the sleeper look, so I don't want a bunch of switches and buttons everywhere.

 

Sounds like a wiring nightmare but I wouldn’t know where to start.

 

I'm already committed to doing a haltech ECU, so I'm gonna be getting cozy with wiring at some point or another.

 

You have blanks on the left of the steering wheel. Much easier install.

 

Yes, but then people can see them and go "oh whats that for?" If I use the steering wheel controls... super stealth.

 

One of these would be much more easy to reverse

 

I don't have any of those switches actually, just blanks in my base model

Not much. Just rotting away until 0600. Then go home, sleep, come and rot for another 12 hours. Luckily, this is my "short week."

 

Come 7am, I've got 6 off.

 

Don't brag lol. I got this weekend off. I'm going to Natchez, meeting up with a guy from on here to get my truck OV Tune/Flash.

I'm holding on to my vac time to (hopefully) go to Boston in April. Have a friend who lives up there. Went up there last Feb right before COVID took off. I'm sorta leery of flying, but as with all things, just have to have some faith in God.

 

No doubt. I saw a quote the other night. It said something to the effect of "I know these times have tried a lot of people's faith. Yet these times have brought a lot of people faith". Was a good thing to see.
