I used to write software for a stock market data company. We had programs to extract data from countries all around the globe before the internet. Just about every night somewhere a country would declare a bank holiday or get overthrown by a dictatorship and I’d have to go to the office and rewrite something. I miss the sunrises most.

Nice. I was playing around on Credit Karma to see my truck's value. Happily surprised. That's more than I paid for it when I got it :D

Some of the dealers lots in BG are pretty empty right now.

I honestly haven't even been paying attention here. I have no use for/can't afford a new vehicle anyway

Soooo? What do you replace it with if you peddle it?

The new car lots are bare. Anything availble ain't what you are gonna want.

If you do find the ride you want, you can be sure the price is gonna be higher thasn it should be. It wont matter to the dealer, they got 5 peeps interested in the same truck you're looking at.

keep the thing and don't play their game!

Evening Kirk, you are correct, the dealership is holding all the right cards right now.

I wonder how many folks sold their DD and ended up in a shitty situation b/c of having to pay the price
I have noticed that shitboxes(especially fb marketplace) are even expensive. I've seen cars(like 80's sedans) that don't run for almost 2K.
