Damn. I was talking about the dual sport. I forgot you had the street bike.

What happened with the Miata? Your fault or another driver?

My fault. I don’t really know what happened. Woke up in the ER. I was told the car flipped twice.

I was driving home late at night in the middle of nowhere. my guess is I swerved to avoid something or since there are no rumble strips I suppose I could have zoned out/dozed off and went off the road.

regardless , thankful I made a full recovery quickly and nobody else was involved.

Yee. I’m really enjoying it, much more than the Miata. I actually like it so much I’m thinking about selling the street bike.
But one of my friends seems really interested in riding so I might hang on to it in case he gets a bike.

Don’t you eventually get numb to what you see? If the public knew the type of people that are living amongst them on our system theyd be besides themselves.

As sadistic as this sounds, it gets easier. You'll end up with a fucked up sense of humor your friends may not understand, and the things that really bother you will sound so fucked up to the normal person you will rarely mention it.

    ^this.

I’ll never work on my birthday again because one year a kid on the unit I was working on attempted suicide. On my birthday, got stuck from 3-11 to Overnight on suicide watch. Forever associated

The worst for me is a little girl died on her birthday. Her dad had spent the entire day setting up a playset, that night she went to get in the tub and coded. We worked her for hours trying to get her back. I honestly think the doc kept it going to get past midnight so she wouldn't be pronounced on her birthday.
