I started my small business two months ago, I did pretty good my first month. I had enough funds to upgrade to commercial equipment. Taking a break from it now due to my new work schedule. The love and the support I get from people is unreal!

 

if you start shipping, let us know; good jerky, like good bbq, is hard to find. and from what I’ve noticed, TW is pretty supportive of fellow members small business with good products. word of mouth goes a long way.

I’ve gotta calm down with the unnecessary shit. Had to throw some stuff on a 3 month chase plan or else I’d be in trouble. Fucked up when I got paid vs when statements closed.

luckily the 3 month plan comes out to like 2% interest instead of 20%.

Back at it again til 0700 then took 4 off for the holiday.

 

Just 2 more days of 12hrs then off for 4 days.

 

Gonna try to tackle my switch pro and light bars/pods this weekend.

Wish I could lift, wouldn’t fit in the garage… err the current garage. May need to build another out back with a post lift and high ceilings for future projects.

Paranoid, no. Cautious? Yes… got a few cameras around the property. Already have an 18x26 Barn out back with a full basement garage for the yard equipment and the wood shop up top. Not enough height for a lift though.
Also, we get a decent amount of snow here, much easier not to have to clean around and scrape off the vehicles.

 

Ahh, we have a few cameras too but I don’t think it’s enough. Few small homeless encampment around the neighborhood. I see them roaming around the neighborhood through out the whole day. Saw one riding a moped trailering his dog on a bike stroller .

 

We’re surrounded by woods on 3 sides so we get more wildlife and the occasional door to door solicitors. I also just don’t trust my neighbors and their acquaintances.

 

Why no trust? Did you had a bad experience with them?

 

nothing personal, just decades long beef over noise and running a commercial biz in a strictly residential zone.

 

Meh, My father been getting at 4am almost every weekend to go fishing for more than 10 years in our current neighborhood.... Garage opening......starting the truck up... hooking up the boat.... His buddies driving over. I want to say our neighbors just adapted to the sound. "white noise' HAHAHAHA

 

I was using an impact wrench in my garage at 11pm on a Friday night and a neighbor walked into my garage and said if I kept it up she was calling the cops.
