    This guys bucking and splitting firewood well into the night. Power washing equipment trucks , etc. usually when We’re trying to put the kids to bed. We’re not going anywhere so we just have to coexist

    oh I could have used a second set of hands for sure. I was trying to finish up so I could move my roommates car in the garage. What’s funny is I was actually done for the night and was putting stuff away. Then like dropped a shelf of shit off my tool cart and it made the loudest noise and I yelled “god dammit!” Right as she was walking in :rofl:

    So you're leaving California and thinking of moving to Colorado solo. What's so intense about that ? Colorado is a great place to live if you can afford it. :burnrubber:

    Colorado is nice. I moved from KY to AZ by myself in the middle of the pandemic.

    it’s a little challenging meeting people outside of work. But I’m adjusting and don’t regret it.

    does the pay increase offset any cost of living increase (if there even is one?) outside of the move itself, what are the cons for you?

    Only offset is paying rent now. Con, Getting let go biggest fear.... and also driving in snow hahaha. Never drove in snow before.
