Lol I have not been on the Best of Craigslist in years.

Probably about a 5-6. You are dealing with bureaucracy, they already lost the recorded 911 call and the operator won't remember you. The car is probably registered to a sex offender. Welcome to Siberia in Jan! J/K They probably won't even print it.

P.S. Make sure there is no Duct Tape in your truck:rolleyes:

$300?!:eek: What are you growing in your basement?
That is a seriously high electric bill! Our May bill was only $57. Very little A/C in May. Aug bill was a all time high of just over $150!

In other news my cateract surgery went great. My bad eye is now my good eye. My day after appt. was not so fun, they sent me to a "out of network" Dr. who wanted $600 to do a post op check:eek: No way, left there in a hurry! Went back to the surgery center after about 20 min. explaining, they got me in to see one of their Doctors:thumbsup: My next checkup in a week will be with the surgeon.
So I get to sleep at night and get paid for it for 4-5 more days:D Then it'll be back to Graveyards for me:thumbsup:

I meant to ask you about that. Glad everything went well. At 49.5, these are things that concern me in the very near future.
Hope you are resting well Rob and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Thanks! I hit 49.5 in Aug, I was diagnosed/told about the cateract 2 years ago. It really started affecting my vision and daily life about 6-8 months ago. My wife finally said "enough" and set up a consult appt. Suppose I should do something for her:rolleyes::D

    Aren't people great?

Checked in on my parents after reading what you posted last night. Some of the videos they've sent of the flooding within walking distance of their house is pretty crazy. And of course one road right outside their neighborhood is shut down, with a car flooded sitting in the middle.

Hope it's not as bad as it was here in the Acadiana area (Louisiana). Entire cities and towns either had moats with no way in or out, or they were underwater completely. All from just continuous torrential downpour, not like the usual hurricanes. Hurricanes weren't ever THAT bad, from the ones I've been through. Still trying to wrap my head around those few days. There's people still trying to recover.

I'm just rambling, yall stay safe

1st night shift in 2 months. Been banished to the day shift. Feels good to be back among my fellow night crawlers.

I'll be here for the next 5 nights.

Holy Shitsnacks! I leave for the weekend and have training for a day and I miss 10 pages! Usually, I end up being on when everyone else is having fun! I need to figure out a good way to have the forum on my phone. I don't think they'd take too kind to me using a company computer for graveyard tacofest.....

A good way to reward your people! I had a supervisor years ago that would smoke a salmon and bring it in for us. One night he smoked on premises and the wind was just right and the whole place smelled of smoking salmon:hungry:

Be careful, watch out for trench foot.
Can you stand them up on the oven door with a small fan blowing warm air into the boots? I would think air circulation would be key in getting them dry.

Yup, i do try to dump them as soon as im off my shift and i make sure to dry my feet out every day. unfortunately my second pair of boots i normally rotate in got destroyed, so im stuck with a single pair until i get paid and get another pair. probably cant stand them on my oven, the other people in my house would kill me if my work boots were found on the oven door

If your boots start stinking bad, throw them in a trash bag and in the freezer for a day or two, then let them thaw out, the stink will be gone.
