Trip was good. Pretty damn near perfect weather the entire time. 70*s with a light wind.
Kept getting Harrison County alerts for severe storms. I saw some lightening in the distance, but we ended up having just a bit of rain in the middle of the night. Nothing crazy.

Rodeo was a great time. It reminded me that I'm not a kid anymore and carnivals aren't that great. We spent 10 hours there. Way too much time. I was so happy when the arena opened up to chill out and watch the rodeo until the concert. I took a friend with me instead of my father (he was sort of glad to get out of it). It was a bad choice. She annoyed the living crap out of me and kept making fun of every last thing she deemed "country". I had to remind her that I actually enjoy this stuff.

Went to t-bone toms and had armadillo eggs(bbq beef &jalapeno in a breaded shell). I made a post about it and messed with my friend on fb for hours. She kept saying I was going to get leprosy from eating their meat. I don't think she ever stopped to think that a armadillo as a mammal....Therefore doesn't lay eggs.

You lucked out then. It's been unseasonably warm down here the past few weeks with maybe a day here and there that's cooled off.

Haven't really seen a difference in bills. I run it for three hours on a timer when I go to bed. Keeps room cold and comfy. In the summer or really warm days that is.

6PM to 6AM shift. Only 3 more hours, then a 2 hour drive home; starting to feel those burning eyes and that sleep-deprived stupor kicking in despite all the Diet Cokes I've been guzzling.
I'm glad I don't do this on a regular basis.
