Trying to get my body switched back over to nights after 3 weeks of a normal daytime schedule. Thank goodness Saving Private Ryan is on tonight. Once it ends I'll probably hit the zzquil to get about 12 hours of sleep :D Or keep driving myself crazy doing some audio research trying to figure out what amp I want to get for my sub that gets delivered today :rockband:

Main reason I listen to Octane is to find new hard rock but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of newer music that sparks my interest. I have tickets to Metallica in May and I am very disappointed that avenged sevenfold won't be there; not a huge fan of volbeat

It's a mixed bag for sure. A7X would be awesome to see. I like M. Shadows' voice. Fits their music nicely.
And Metallica would be an awesome show. As long as they stuck to the old stuff...

Another bucket list band, Tool is playing Boston Calling at Harvard but they're the only band I'd want to see other than maybe Weezer at the whole 3-day festival and I don't want to be around that many hipsters/millenials.

That's every event here in Austin. It use to be "weird" here, and now it's hipster. Same for Seattle. I can't escape it haha. But, I just avoid the big name festivals and go to smaller venues and it's not bad.

    and some Tool:

If you have Amazon prime, try their music app. You can download songs to your phone thru it to listen to anytime. I believe Google operates the same way.

My big ticket this year is slayer with lamb of God and behemoth. Splurged for pit tickets as it's in an arena. I have to drive to kc mo for it tho.

Up bright and salty at 4am....why? Because I have a midnight brain. I could have slept till 530ish. I have a 16 hour work day ahead of me. Crossing fingers someone trades me and I get off of late post at the part time job so I can get some sleep tonight. Same goes for tomorrow. Though concert duty at the full time job for some religious country band.

I'm too old for general admission/field/pit tickets. Plus, working behind the walls for 7 years gives me paranoia in crowds.
In small venues I deliberately choose balcony seats.

I'll check out music on prime. (New season of Bosch out today BTW)
I paid for Spotify premium but wasnt listening to it enough to justify the $. I can stream SXM on my phone/iPad and usually find something good to listen to. I need to hook my old external up to my router at home and "cloud" access the ~1TB of music I have accumulated over the years.
