My Taco is our only vehicle with a spare. Our other two just came with a repair/plug and 12V inflator. I've only needed a spare once in 25 years and then I made it home and put it on in my driveway. We did get a flat on our camper about 15 years ago, that don't count because those are crappy tires they put on those. My trailers never leave home without a spare on board

This was the first flat on the Taco. I had 4 on my previous f150. It's a big chance with as much construction that goes on around here and the trash dump is a flat waiting to happen

Except the Solstice! Production and concept were almost exactly the same.:burnrubber:

I'm off tonight so I think I going to check out and go to bed. I get to work the next three so my partner gets a three day weekend (tonight doesn't count as part of the weekend)
    Goodnight all:thumbsup:

:woot: damn daywalkers... we've got a couple guys here that you know one of them will call out right before their supposed to be here... and they both wound up on the same shift  Luckily, due to our schedules, we only overlap that shift once every two weeks... but it is on a Sunday morning

 Enjoy and see ya later

In for another night...2 of 3. This link is an interesting one if it stays working. I have had to grab other links from other news sources as they seem to time out after a while. The spillway at Oroville dam came apart early this year as they were releasing water.

    http://www.parks.ca.gov/live/lakeorovillesra_spillway

Daytime viewing is far better, they are trying to do three years work in 9 months...the size of this project is mind-boggling. The spillway ramp itself is about 7 to 10 ft thick...

With only 5 of us, I'm across from the 2 worst people about showing up on time. Day or night doesn't make a difference

I have not; I hate running and think people who run for fun are insane. My knees are junk from pushing around 320lbs during my high school football days 15-20 years ago. I have done some short memorial 5k and 5milers for fallen brothers but was by no means trying to set aland speed record.

    Thanks for the advice,
We have brought that up the last 2 times that he's been in. Our pediatrician said they don't really start to worry before 5 and a subsequent referral to a ENT specialist.

Seems like my buddy's kid was between 1 and 2 yo when they did hers... it made such a huge difference; seems like she was sick all the time that first year or so, then after the tubes never another problem. :notsure:

Seems they had fallen out by the time she grew to 5, but I'll have to ask him.

My godson had them put in and still gets ear infections. I think part of the problem is the Petri dish called daycare...

Very possible ... not every solution works for every kid I guess. Good luck. :fingerscrossed: I remember how frustrating it was for them when every time they turned around she was sick and not sleeping worth a darn for nights on end. :(

It's a proven and reliable platform. Ford/Dodge is moving to the 8-10 speed transmission, and Chevy has the cylinder deactivation which has its own issues.

I checked with my buddy, she was 2.5 yo when they put her tubes in. They fell out when she was about 8. I hope it gets better for your son ... at the current rate, only 16 or so ear infections to go.

    ... you might ask around/get a second opinion. I'm just sayin' ;)

    Good luck. :fistbump:
