I just shot a 97 the other week, personal best. I learned awhile back... I suck... So I just laugh and usually have fun. Now the guy I golf with... He shoots on the 80s and gets mad and I just laugh at him.

I'm the same way! If I break 100, that's a GOOD day. Only happened a few times though. Now it's just too damn expensive for me when I could be spending that money on vehicles. However you can't beat going out to a 7am tee time, dew on the grass with the sun rising and cracking a beer. That's a great feeling.

Night shift and golf... making am drinking socially acceptable :D:cheers:

Only shot a 100 once and then the 97. usually right at 100-103. But I don't practice so I don't expect much. No sponsors have stepped forward yet...:anonymous:

Ha! Best part is that when I used to do that, I'd work days. 12pm-8pm with a weekend of wednesday and thursday. My buddy and I would play on base one of those days, and of course the only other people there were retired Naval officers with nothing better to do. We got some funny looks.

looks of jealousy probably :D Back in Charleston, when I'd get off of Mids, I'd hit the gas station on the way off base and grab a six pack. Standing in line with officers getting coffee and weird looks... Some of them were on shift work too and understood, but the higher ups would glare. I'd always offer to top off their coffee

5 years of straight mids at current job, 2 years of rotating at last duty station before I got out, and then 5 years on a sub with 18 hour day schedule and shiftwork mixed in. Been since '03 since I've had a "regular day job" still pales in comparison to some on here, but we've made it work. Always have our eyes and ears open for a day job, but we're surviving.
May have asked before but what did/do you do in Navy?

Ooof, that's rough. This is my first time have to work mids semi-regularly. Up until now, I've only had the occasional mid watch to stand OOD.

I'm still active, and am a CTN. Just work with computers and have been for 6 years now. I can't complain because of the three duty stations I've been at, they're all shore commands.

I was a nuke ET. Got out about 5 years ago.

On a side note, just had a power bumps and lost power for a few mins. Good time to refill drink, then back to YouTube.

My recruiter tried to get me to go nuke, and I'm really glad I didn't. Heard nothing but horror stories with how hard the school is. It's warranted because of the nature of the job, but that sure as shit isn't for me. Plus I could never do a sub.

No, PM. Middle of "my" night.
I would have been at work at 1:30AM and no problem with getting a work related phone call. We use our phones so much for work we get a stipend on our checks:thumbsup:

So far I've only got 20 miles on them. They are quiet compared to the look. At highway speed (60 ish) with the radio off you can hear a very slight hum, but even with the radio on really low, there is no hearing them. Drove in the rain on the way to work and from red lights I got on them a bit and they hooked fine. I'm sure any brand new tire would work in that test. But so far, love the look and the ride comfort is really nice. I did just do a whole front suspension swap so I can't say how much is the tire and how much is the new suspension. I read a lot of tire reviews on here, Tirerack and all over the interwebz and decided on these. The other main factor was I decided on 255/85/16 and that really limited my options. I really liked our Toyo AT2's we had on our previous runner but they weren't available in this size or I may have just gone with those again.
