Contento de estar en casa  (thanks google :D)

Got home to a nice surprise... our water bill from the last month that covered the busted water main... Let's just say it was less than 2k by not a lot :frusty:... Guess being gone for almost two days with a direct main break is a lot of water. Gonna call tomorrow and see if they'll work with us. Otherwise I'm begging for OT. :bananadead:

WOW that sucks. Good luck hopefully they wont be dicks, kinda seems like that much usage should throw a red flag up somewhere along the line before the problem goes on for 2 weeks.....

The water line break was down stream of your meter? How did you not get any flooding? If you did, there must have been water damage to the house.

We're hoping for a reduction in amount owed. :fingerscrossed: Great timing as we just spent a lot on vacation this weekend...

Downstream yes, so on our end. Was about a foot past the meter. we were out of the house for the weekend, came back and noticed no pressure. Walked out towards meter and saw a mini lake. It's off the side of the house and far enough away, nothing to worry about at house. So we are technically on the hook for it, so I'll try begging. Funny that with the bill there was no note about the massive increase in usage for the month, just a warning about watering the yard on "off days"

Anyone here deal with air quality monitors?
The one sitting next to me is going ballistic. Flashing lights, vibrating and beeping.

Sup is still on vacation.

Looks like one I've used before... can you pull battery or is it "internal"? Is there a hard reset method?

I mean, the last one of those I encountered doing that was telling me that the air around me was about to blow up in my face..... Might want to see what all the noise is about

Hey Rich, are you still breathing? What lights were flashing?

I was doing hole watch once for a couple of guys in a vessel. One of them farted and set off my meter for low oxygen. I made them exit the vessel until the fart cleared. They complained it was only because of the fart. I said, well now you know. No farting on my watch.

It was reading 20.9 whatever that means.
ERT guy came down and his was reading 20.9
he told me I didn't have anything to worry about until it hit 18.

    He reset it..........and left.
I'm still breathing. But.......20.9 of what?

Actually, it's upside down in that pic.
It has 3 leds. The 2 outer ones were flashing.
ERT said no gas or c02 in the air, so I think I'm safe. Idkhttps://youtu.be/EcuOxq1Zxbw

20.9% of oxygen concentration in the air in the area of the meter. Most people just say 21% O2.

You get around 18%, you will start to feel shitty.

Why did you have that monitor? Is the area you are working a closed space?

That monitor isn't the type you are supposed to wear is it? Some have a motion sensor. If you don't move, it triggers an alarm.

Yea. It has a belt clip on it but they have it stationary atm.

They do monthly testing at this machine.
It's a wet grit operation that uses white duralum. Aluminum oxide.
The mist goes thru an air filtration unit and then into the air in the plant.
