Man! Some great memories were invoked! 41 years ago and I can remember those caves very well. Thanks.

    Nope.

Lived here in Midland, Michigan all my life. The trips to Bloomington were thru the local 4H chapter. One trip was a ride on a short school bus all the way there and back.

Wow, yea, lots of great memories caving.
We had a group of 6-7 that would go a few times in the winter and summer. Even some girls that would go.

Myself and 3 friends went into Salamander. I think the parents were told that that one was the best for kids to explore unsupervised. We got in trouble because we spent 9 hours in the cave. Time has no relevance and none of us had a watch.

Evening folks  2nd night off ... wide awake after falling asleep on couch for 3.5 hrs following supper. Busy enough day, guess I hit the "wall."
My buddies and I did some unsupervised spelunking growing up in VA.

... can ya'll imagine parents letting their kids go caving unsupervised these days.

I actually thought the same thing when I wrote that. I feel sorry for today's kids with their "helicopter" parents.

Thanks, hopefully nothing serious. He had a stomach virus that the whole house had that's likely running its course. Could also just be from a mouthful of lake water from swimming last week... he's still eating well and staying hydrated; kid certainly doesn't miss a meal.

We're all back to work, daycare, etc looking forward to a nice long holiday weekend.

Ah. Sounds close to bodyglide, that stuff saves lives in the summer.

I think I'm in this club too, couldn't sleep at all yesterday, went to bed at 0800, then got right back up at 1000 and am at work until 2100.

This morning I tried some natural sleeping pills which have melatonin and some random herbs. I got 5-6 hours of sleep this morning when usually I struggle to get 3 after a mid shift. Talk about a life saver!

I had to do it. ;)

I highly recommend a LifeProof case. I couldn't own one of these iPhones without it.

Oh I always have my Lifeproof on it. Problem was I dropped a Carbide End Mill attached to a trim router and the bit hit my leg, (later noticed it hit my phone which was in my pocket). No case or screen protector is stopping that. But thats why I paid fro Apple Care
