Glad y'all stayed dry. We picked up just over 29" and I was sweating bullets with no flood insurance. Cannot believe what's happening in Houston in addition to the original hurricane damage.

I just feel like writing. Got all my chores done for the next hour or until the next issue comes up.

In 2015, the frame on my 1998 rusted in half. I was lifting it on the hoist. I knew my frame was getting bad, but being a skilled, amateur fabricator, I was able get another 100k out of the truck. 298,235miles . I so wanted that 300k mark.

Anyways, getting ready to do an oil change. While lifting the truck, I always watch the gap between the cab and the bed. I was just about to get the wheels off the ground and I saw the gap jump open! Fuck! she finally gave up the ghost. I lowered it back to the ground, texted the wife, "Honey, this truck is never going on the road again". We were preparing for the day, so we just had a moment of silence and moved on to hunting for the replacement vehicle.

The truck was a great running truck. 300,000 miles and never even a checkl engine light. I figured the drive train was savable...

Shit! just got called out. To be cont.

Truck goes in today for a frame inspection, based on my own visual im expecting it to fail as theres a fairly decent hole on the passenger side, and theres other spots that are getting thin.
