It's pretty easy to do if you just straight-out call their number to discontinue it.

 

I get mail from them like every week to subscribe. Lol. Yea, $20 for 6 months.

 

I like Pandora better, but there's been a lot of times up in the mountains all I can really get is Sirius.

Boneyard, Lithium, and Classic Rewind are my biggest go-to's.

Octane's not bad either (I knew there was another one).

My 64GB isn't even full, and I have entire discographies of stuff. Tool, Pink Floyd, Rush are some of the ones that I can think of offhand.

I have 700-800 cds, that are pretty much obsolete now. My brother has them all burnt to his home network. I need to get up there and put a bunch of them on my phone. I'm a pandora guy too, can't go wrong for $5 a month and unlimited skips.

 

I think it's good to have he hard-copy backups.

My DVD collection includes stuff that's out of print anymore, a great movie called "Southern Comfort" with Keith Carradine and Powers Booth is one of 'em I can think of that's OOP.

 

Do the newer Tacoma's have usb?
My challenger does. No CD player, just usb .
My factory 2002 Tacoma radio has CD and tape.
I still play some cassettes in it occasionally.

 

USB and CD both. I got the non-JBL setup in my 2016.

 

I got the non JBL too, I'm going to have to get some new speakers put in sometime soon.

 

I'm eyeballing the OEM Audio Plus stuff really hard.

No-one has one local that I can listen to though, but I've heard they're really killer setups.

 

I'm waiting on a new part from ebay then I'll have my custom Ipod built... Started with a 7th gen 160gb and now it's a 1TB SSD Ipod So far I'm up to 700 gb of music on my pc to put on it. should be good to go on random with that

I looked at them and *********, I think I'm going to go custom though. If I'm going to spend $1500, I may as well get some custom quotes.

I got a quote the other day, the guy wanted $1200 for replacing the door speakers with kenwoods, new wiring, and 2 amps. Thats no tweeters or subs. He pretty much told me to come up with my own sub, and tweeters would be $300 more. That's basically $2k for all of it, with subs and tweeters. I wasn't impressed, not due to the price, due to his absolute lack of effort and him seeming disinterested.

There's a really bad ass custom shop up in STL, they make the top installers list every year, one of the best places in the country. They believe in 2 way active components, and don't believe in rear speakers. It's all about the front soundstage. They are a dynaudio dealer, but also do focal, hertz etc. I'm going to get a quote from them, just for shits and grins. Everyone I've talked to, says they were blown away at the price of the quotes they got lol. I don't think $2k would touch what they would want.

 

That movie was the 1st movie I ever saw on laser disk. I vaguely remember the "cassette"? being about the size of an LP vinel album.

 

Stays on the main board. iTunes will only recognize up to around 50k tracks so I'm gonna have to put rockbox on it if I wanna fully use it

 

Any other takers on the new Iphones? ordered mine at the 3am pre-order release while working yesterday.
