I'm gonna attempt to be a productive person this weekend and actually do things around the house instead of screwing around with the rally car all weekend.

4 of 7. My brother brought his new truck over this evening. It's a Honda Ridgline:

    IMG_5019.jpg

I'm not a huge fan of the way they look, I thought about getting one last year but didn't because of the design. I will say, they do have a ton of cool features on those things though. The "trunk" storage in the bed is really neat, the speakers and lights in the bed are really cool too. The dual action swingout tailgate is nice, It has the self adjusting cruise control too.

They aren't nearly as roomy on the inside as the Tacoma though. I think he paid $40k for it.

i just cant like them. the third gen tacoma body design grew on me, and isnt too terrible with a pro grille on it, but the ridgelines look like somone cut the top off of the back half of a minivan, and is calling it a truck. plus the kinda craptastic towing capacity.

I believe that's a 2nd gen, but that's pretty much how I'd like the front of my Taco to look in a few years, I'd have a pro grill though. shocks, Control arms and all. That's a good $5k+ Worth of stuff though. I don't think I'd do the snorkel.

yeah, thats the 2012-2015 facelift. id have a front bumper, but cant justify it, as the front receiver hitch/recovery bar serves me a lot better. plus, it can support the winch that i want, and its removable, so i can leave it in my bed or at home.

also, on a side note, if you really like that grille style, the 2012-2015 front end will actually bolt right on to your 2016

Oh hey, you guys ARE alive!

I drove a neighbor's Ridgeline (once), I didn't really like it. Nowhere NEAR as nimble as a Tacoma, including the 3rd gens.

I'll have to find the picture, there's a guy here that built pretty much the ultimate 3rd gen. He named it something cool, and damned if I can remember what he called it, but sadly it got totalled at some point before he even got to really wheel it. :(

    ETA: This guy...
