Get eBay LEDs or halos man. They have tons to pick from. Retrofitting is cake if you know how to solder. Mine haven't flinched.

Thanks but I'm not sealing the headlights with eBay stuff in them. I think ill take my chances with the retrofit source again.

I think I'm going to try to switch the drivers even though I'm getting power through it. See if the driver is the problem. People say it's very rare for the halo to just go out, usually it's always the driver.

I really don't want to take the headlights apart.

Found a way to use my other driver to check if the it's bad. Using the other driver the halo did turn on. Just need to get a new driver then!

Not having the best of luck...

Got a new driver and it didn't work either. So they said they would send me another one. For some reason it didn't get shipped for like 3 weeks and the. I just got notified it was sent to and old address..... like seriously! You just sent a part to me then you decide to change addresses.....

And my door handle decide to break the other day. Was going to get OEM....but I decided to get a pair on eBay for 25 dollars and try them. All in all I could get like 3 pair of eBay ones for OEM ones.

Finally got my elocker to work! After messing with wires and plugs trying to figure out why it wasn't getting power for probably 5 hours I finally got it all straightened out. Also installed new door handles, drivers side was broke and the black paint on the chrome one was coming off. Just got some cheapies off eBay. Not sure how long they will last, I've had 2 drivers door handles break on my already. Both were aftermarket. My door needed a little lube too so that could have been the problem.

Got 2 more drivers from TRS.....neither worked. The halo does work, I unplugged the driver on the other headlight and ran wires from it to the halo and it turned on..... but none of the drivers I got from TRS turn it on. Idk what the deal is.

In good news I got Tundra brakes in today! Going on vacation this weekend and still need parts from LCE to install them. Using hard lines and stainless brake hoses.

Also got a ham radio! It's a gt-3wp baofeng. Supposed to be waterproof. Pretty impressed with how it's built just looking at it. Thought it would be something good to get started on.

So I decided to finally fix the crack on the hood of the monstaliner. I think it happened cause there was a lot of bondo there and the monstaliner just wasnt very thick. Got a repair kit from monstaliner.

This is after I peeled the monstaliner that was no longer sticking to the hood.

    This is after some sanding

    After the first coat

    After 3 coats

It didn't come out like I was hoping. Its not great but it will work. I wasn't sure exactly how to approach painting it but now I'm wishing I would have tried a little different technique. I also fixed some spots on both bumpers.

Got some new window trim too

    Before

    After

    Looks so much better.

Also got these clips for the filler plates so they will finally stay put!

How'd you get the damn trim to come off? I've never been able to get it because I feel like I'm going to break it

Just pulled. It should just pop out. Pull up on the side closes to the door handle and work your way toward the front a little and it should pop free

Only Year model 2000 automatics and year 2001-2004 california emissions Tacomas need there O2 sensors relocated, as they have wideband O2 sensors which have to be hotter unlike narrow band sensors used on year models 1999 and previous as well as 2000 manuel trucks, which can be cooler and be ok.

Okay sweet thanks. I know I've just read that multiple times so I put it down not knowing it was model specific.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Yes. There is an auxiliary bung on the down pipe to fit the wideband sensor. The video below is the guy that kind of figured it out but I think he moved the stock sensor a bit too high. I would probably put it right after the bend down in the down pipe; def behind the aux wideband bung.

The cxracing downpipe has a bung already welded in the pipe right behind the turbo, so for the AEM wideband there's no welding required. And again since you're a 98 you don't have to move any stock O2's
