    hmmmm Maybe I need to double check mine... :laugh: I thought I saw all the zerks along the the drive train and only counted 5....

    mine only has 3. none at all on the front u joints. ( on the drive shaft in front of the transfer case

    I have 5.. the ones on the front are hard to see. They are actually in between the U Joints, on the inside of the U.

    Remember the front shafts can be turned by hand. Make sure the truck is in 2WD, turn the shaft in front of the xfer case and you should see them.

    The 1st one above the heat shield nearest the xfer case sucks....

    im glad i ran across this thread... how often are u supposed to grease up everything?? i got 40k on my truck now. pretty sure i should grease the fittings by now

    I usually give a squirt of grease every oil change. Book says 15,000 miles.

    Yeah, I do mine every oil change too. The front usually doesn't need much, but the rear takes a bit more. Truck seems to drive a little smoother after too.

    when u take yur truck in for a routine oil change/tire rotation, do the dealerships do this for u?

    They say they do. I put wax over the zerks and took my truck in one time, and when finished, I found the wax still there. They said I didnt have any grease zerks, so I had to drag the "Tech" under my truck and pont them out. You may want to make it clear you want it done, as you are paying for it anyway.

OME 882s, HD Dakars and nitrochrgers, TG front bumper, custom rear bumper, 4Xinnovations sliders, RAT skids, Softopper, 255/85/16 ST MAXX's on 16" steelies, 1" B.O.R.A. wheel spacers Scangaugae II, deck plate mod, grey wire mod,ECGS bushing, diff breather relocation, alarm mod, defrost w/o compressor mod, de-badged, sockmonkey beside decals.
    greased all mine yesterday after changing the oil. im counting 8 as well.

    My Prerunner is sealed. I had a 2000 4x4, and I have 3 other 4x4's and a 6x6, all of which have grease zerks.

    I can only find 5 on my 08 4x4 DC
