I am no expert on grease but I do sell quite a bit of it. Please no questions on who I work for but we are one of the largest manufacturers here in the USA.

Anyrate, Ive seen a few posts about grease and what people are using.

For wheel bearings a synthetic wheel bearing grease from any of the large manufacturers is great stuff. However, wheel bearing grease is typically an ISO viscosity of 110 cSt) @40deg F which wont cut it in a BJ unless you have it packed with moly 3% or greater and still I wouldn't use it. It will work but not the best choice. Id go with what is used in mining applications which is a ISO cSt 300 to (cSt) 450 @ 40F. At the very least a 220 cSt. I get the stuff packed with Moly and graphite. Graphite may be difficult get in your regular automotive stores. Moly is more important. Look for technical data sheets and look for quality products sold at heavy equipment distributors.

The higher the viscosity the better the EP properties

    Thats my 2 cents
