Grease on Driver side LCA

    Just went to change my oil and found thick grease all over the inside of my LCA on the driver side. Any idea where this could have come from?

    Right, that's what I thought too, but both look clean. What's the little u-joint in the attached picture? Seems like that's in the dead center of the spattering

    That's part of your steering linkage! I don't think that's a greasable fitting IIRC, and I doubt it'd hold that much grease.

    You should zoom out a little.. its hard to orientate up, down and so on.

    Rack and pinion is leaking time for a new one. The red colored oil is a dead give away
