Hey, I have the expedition all pro leaf pack and I’m replacing the bushings on them. I ordered a set of greaseable shackle bolts from LCE and a set of bushings from Trail Gear. The bushings came with sleeves. The problem is the bolt is 0.70diameter and the sleeve is 0.75diameter. The bolt does not fit snuggly into the bushing but the sleeve does. Is it because I’m using the All pro bushings that they aren’t a correct fit? I don’t get it. They shouldn’t be that loose right?

For clarity, do you mean 0.700" and 0.750"?

Do the bolts fit inside the metal sleeves ok? From my understanding the metal sleeves should be pinched in place when the bolts are torqued. Then the bushing rotates around the sleeve. For that reason you actually want the grease to be on the outside of the sleeve, between it and the bushing. So really what works better than a greasable bolt is to have a grease zerk in the center of the shackle or leaf spring eye. There should be a void in between the sides of the poly bushings that can be filled with grease. Hopefully that makes sense. And hopefully that info is accurate haha
