We're starting from NH. Will be a bit more of a hall. I've got next week off. I'm hitting the maps hard.

Too bad you couldn't get this weekend off. Would have been nice to have you join. But I get it. Work is work

What kind of equipment is necessary for the trip? Are some of the roads/trails impassible without a solid set of A/T tires and winch, or could it be done with a bare bones TRD/OR?

Depending on Pace you might vibrate your teeth out of your head on stock suspension. Also, sharp shale is a real concern for tires

I air down for the main roads up there for comfort , and even more for the trails.

    But it is a blast

That's why we don't have stock suspension :) Used to drive on those roads with an F350 and stock suspension, it got old fast.

We'll be playing with air levels for handling vs ride comfort.

20-25 should be more than fine. I wouldn't go too low on gldn road . Still paved in some areas.

I might be interested in this trip depending on the dates. Our trip up to that area last month was a blast.

Also @jmferg not sure if you've seen this thread yet. But these are the same trains we didnt have time to stop at on the trip last month. I think you were the one that was pretty keen on seeing them

Yes, we'll pick people up along the way at pre-established rally points.
