Specifically for vehicle modifications. In AUS youd need PE signoff on your LT kit before it could be used on a road vehicle.

Not gonna lie man, when I was assisting my buddy with his burg install I sort of wish it was like that here. It was amazing that they sent a kit with no inventory list, no spec sheet of what to expect in part verification, or install instructions which some parts were found to be the wrong version mid way through the install. I feel if they had a PE involved...maybe they would have been forced to provide some level of specification for the kit. Good thing TC doesn't mess around and we used all their specs in order to torque the kit down to a reasonable reference. Sad part, still don't know if those values are completely adequate since its a different manufacturer.

I mean if I had my stamp...I wouldn't use it unless I felt the product had a good explanation and literature to prove the design met or exceeded industry standards.

Yes, but we'd have allot less good stuff if everyone had to be designed and approved by an engineer.

Maybe...but at the same time companies like camburg market that they are "engineering?" To a degree on certain parts I agree it doesn't need a stamp, but crucial systems it could help such as this.

Yeah, I'd like to see more QC and process from allot of these guys. It's all well and good to say "expert installation required" but parts should be there, and tolerances should be tight.

Tomorrow is another possibility. But i was invited to drinks with coworkers.

But first, picking up payment from a friend who just ordered a 5100 lift kit for his 2015 4runner. :bananadance: I should be an ambassador or something @inesshell :boink:
