For years I wanted one of those, and now I'm finally not getting one. Not because of right hand drive, but mostly that fuckers are so rare they want upwards of 40K for 30-40 year old ones. Yeah... I'm not rich.
Anyways, that thing is pretty sweet, although in the shop pretty often

From what I understand paint is original, but there was a lot of restoration and fixing involved. It is one cool Defender though.
    For sure!

I've driven my friends R32 Skyline and it was very weird. But the shift pattern is the same. Just reverse is weird

I guess since it's mostly a slap forward slap back shift it wouldn't be too bad. It'd be the 5th to 3rd shifts that get me

Ordered FSR M49 hardshell on Amazon, was sent M55 soft shell.

Refused order right away. (This was last Tuesday) refund processed today. Wont see $ until tomorrow probably. Already ordered M49 hardshell through FSR directly. Wont ship until May

Hey @fatfurious2 and maybe @Arcticelf I believe you gave me an idea to use dry lube on rod ends.
After recent car wash when I used lawn sprinkler underneath to rinse stuff off, fucking squeals and squeeks became unbelievable. I stopped by autozone and bought only kind they had - wd40 dry lube. It worked for a while, so big thanks for that idea!

Now, it seems it only works for a little while, and I have to reapply it rather often. Would it mean that I might have to change bearings and or misalignment spacers?
