Careful with this method. You can widen the lca by putting too much pressure. I tried this when I rebuilt mine and none of them popped free like expected.

I took a sawzall and cut off half the bushing.

Bought harbor freight propane torch that hooks to 20 on tank and burned out the bushing until it was firey rubber dust

After that, all that’s left is the sleeve. One one side the sleeve rounds out and forms a lip over the lca. Grind that smooth.

then take a sawzall, cut a slit in the sleeve.
Hammer and pointy chisel and it comes out.

These were my uca but same exact process.

I did, they’re meh. If I could do it over I’d go oem bushings for lack of maintenance I.e. greasing them.
I picked up a cheap one from HF. Stock may work

After my second trip out I needed to regrease them. Granted it was very dusty, but still. And youve gotta drop the lca so it’s quite an ordeal

Yes. I recently performed the first maintenance window on the front end since 2016 rebuild.

My truck is extremely low mileage now, maybe 2,500 year?

Everybody's Window going to be different based on how they use their truck.

Greasing LCA bushings does suck. if I ever have to go in there again I'm probably going to just replace. My time is too valuable to be messing with them.

Grease is supposed to go between the poly bushing, and the metal sleeve in the middle. So you have to drop the lca, hammer out the sleeve, clean it up, grease it and put it back in.
