That was my go-to until Diablo. I just wish I could eat TB without feeling sick a couple hours later.

I actually dont need any bearings. Just want to be able to slide the traction boards in. I could probably be super cheap and use a bungee cord to "close"/ keep them in hah. And I could make it bolt-on and use a small u-bolt or exhaust clamp to attach it to my rack. (Theres no way that Im removing the tent again, unless absolutely necessary haha)

Im just thinking out loud above.. Im going to try to get my LCAs in tomorrow. Shouldnt be that bad of an install :fingerscrossed: *says everyone all the time*

If its just for traction boards some angle iron, or if you want to be fancy, C channel, will work perfectly.

LCAs SUCK. but good luck. Buy extra sawzall blades.

I know for a fact that my bolts are good. I just took them off 1.5 years ago to do TC cam tabs and lube them up with anti-seize. I had gotten new bolts and LCAs when I got a new frame.

Hopefully they should just slide out, and I can put in the TC Expedition dual shock (greasable!) LCAs. Then, on Thursday ill get an alighnment, and be good to go for Friday

@pdenajim Jim must have kept the Farrah poster and most likely defiled it. You wouldn't want it now.

How does one drill into the roof of the cap and not come out the top? I am really liking this setup but want to avoid leaks.

One thing I recommend is taking advantage of discount tire price match. They had my tire listed for $255 each but Walmart website had them for $195. Discount tire price matched them. Saved me money and I still get the awesome customer service and reputation of discount tire.

Even if there's no stores near you, discount tire direct is all online and has free shipping, and will also price match.
