$61 each here. Double check the p/n but that saves $60 overall.

edit: Also, calling McGeorge with your VIN is a quick way to verify the correct p/n. I've had to do it once and the guy was very knowledgeable.

@Rome604 is this how you wire your BD lights together? I have a sPod, so I dont need a switch or a relay.

I have my 6 squadron sports wired in parallel with no problems. Speakers are much different than lights because of ohms and stuff.

so how do you do it? Wire them into two bigger wires? I need a diagram like that to understand. Or a picture to copy. (not that Im doing it any time soon, just for my reference) I do not understand wiring diagrams

They’re all the same gauge wire. But just like that second picture pretty much. I have a pair of wires that I run from the spod down to the furthest light. Then the other 5 lights I tapped into that. Hopefully that makes sense.

OH. That does make sense, but wouldnt the draw be too much? Or do you have a thicker gauge wire coming from the spod?

Not for this specific set up. The squadron sports don’t draw many amps and it’s a short run of wire. You are correct though that it’s something to be mindful of.

@EatSleepTacos is right. There are formulas for figuring out what gauge wire you should use. It takes into account the wattage of the light and the distance of the wire. Longer wires need to be larger gauge to prevent voltage drop under load.

That's all probably too much information for you. Most likely 12 gauge wires (both hot and ground) will be what you need. How many lights (type also) are you planning on putting on a single switch and where are you mounting them?

I haven't gotten that far yet. Was just posing the question. But if anything, 2 S2 sports next to the fogs.. I guess I just wanted to clear it in my mind

If it's just the two lights on a single switch then you'll be fine with 16 gauge wire for that case. I normally go larger just in case I ever change anything and I want to install larger lights or something...not that I've ever done that :anonymous:

S2 sports draw next to nothing. 14-16ga will be fine
