Hell, pay me a couple hundred bucks, and I'll go out there in a party central dragon costume and a blow torch. It'll be an experience you'll never forget.

@JLee on your universal bed mounts, how much space is there from the bottom of the mount to the lip on the bed? Maybe 1/4-1/2" ? Or is that just how the picture looks and its flat?

@GHOST SHIP I was just reading back on the Access Cab install of the Prinsu that you did.. do you remember what size holes were drilled in the roof? Since Ive taken mine off, I left the rivnuts in, but Im now thinking that im going to dremel them out, and just put in a plastic plug with more silicone.

Asking because Id like to buy the correct size plug. Thanks!

I don’t recall but honestly you would just as well be fine by siliconing bolts into the existing rivnuts. I’d probably use small diameter washes too for aesthetics.

Well what i did already, was used set screws with teflon tape, and then silicone on top of that. But my concern is, the roof molding is not flush. Just worried, thats all. Tomorrow ill check to see if there are any leaks.

I was thinking of dremeling out the rivnuts, and dropping the headliner again to get the other sides out. Then siliconing the plastic plugs in place of the rivnuts

Just cut away the ribbing under the weatherstripping where a each bolt sits to clear the bolt head. If the weather stripping concerns you, you could always add small sections of double sided tape around the bolt to holt the rubber down.

Do this ^^^, if the riv-nut isn't leaking I wouldn't cut them out.

Having withdrawals already, and it's only been 24h. Suspension should get to Downsouth on Friday, then hopefully rebuilt in a week, and then back out to me

it would be a lot less work that’s for sure. You would still have all the benefits of 2lo, and you could even get a 3lo if you have a front locker.

yes, wiring the transfer case lights would be required either way. They aren’t necessary to do for it to be functional though. Wiring of the ADD would be required.

I will definitely be thinking about it soon. I havent had any issues with mine **knock on wood** . Besides the GFC that I have on order, Im just planning on dual shocks this year, along with some maintenance. So this might be something for 2022. I will reach out when I get there. Thanks for the info!

If you come across a case for under $300 with lower mileage I’d pick it up if you can and sit on it til you’re ready.

Thats a good idea. I will keep an eye out. Ive been occassionally looking on car-part and ebay, but nothing was particularly popping out at me. Id also think Id need one with a shifter right?

yeah, the shifter is pretty pricey from the factory, so I’d make sure to get a case that has one that hasn’t been hacked off at the base or missing altogether.
