Nice that side cabinet is a good idea. My toolbox is full and trying to decide what to get. Was thinking about one of those workbench cabinets so I’d have more drawers and another flat surface

I hope my stuff will fit and i have a little room to grow. Im only $100 into this setup.

The big box was getting full, but it was also time for a change

@spencermarkd @geekhouse23 how are your tool carts organized? I put all of my Milwaukee tools in the lower deep drawer, and now I think i will need to put them in the top.. just wanting to see some other examples

I forgot to take pics.. whoops..

Basically here is how it breaks down:

Top left skinny: hex keys, punches, picks, other small handheld tools, moto specific tools (chain alignment, bead breaker, etc)
Top left 2nd down: small chemicals (anti seize, assembly lube), anything for pnuematic or oil lines, fittings, tape, etc.
Deep top right drawer: staples, staple gun, uni-bits, a small buffing wheel/pad thing, my burner phone for the bmw, other random crap
skinny full width drawer: sockets, wrenches, ratchets with almost no organization applied
deep full width drawer: things that smack, pry, saw, scrape, or bend that are generally larger and a few things in blow molded cases.
Underneath on the shelf: a couple organizer racks of electrical connectors/parts, a few blow molded cases for specific tools

In the top compartment, I keep screwdrivers along each side, a couple bins for random small things, grinders, wrenchs and pliers, multimeter, calipers, a few other random things. Then I keep my lid open 100% of the time and have some magnetically attached holders for gloves, spray cans, lubes, glues, whatever.

Nut/bolts are in a bin under the bench, as are glue gun and heat gun, drill bits, and I don't remember what else.

Lots of my hand tools are up on my peg board, too.

Older pic: I've redone my peg board and cleaned up a bit since this

Socket organizers for the most part. I don't really get too fancy with it since it's actually used. It's not a SEMA build by any means.

Let me know if you want some pics.

A video popped up in my youtube reccomends where a guy essentially stacked two of the drawer portions of the 5 drawer carts into one frame and created his own DIY 10-drawer.. I'm kind of tempted to give that a go. On "sale" this weekend for $260

What do you think about this organization?

tool cart moves to left wall, work bench moves to the right wall. If it happens, i need to move the shelf up a few inches. Im not going to move the cabinets. And tv above the workbench. And yes, I need to paint
