So another friend brought this up, and it kinda makes sense.. but pinion bearings might be bad. Still driveline related. I have had a sound like 2 pieces of cardboard rubbing, but its been like that for a couple years.

Its been 6.5 years since gears were done - out of the warranty period from ECGS. If it turns out to be the case, I d rather make the drive down. Only about 4 hours away. Maybe one plus to living in mid-atlantic area.

I think theres a way to check, with a stethoscope on the rear diff, while its in the air. But I don't want to buy it. Plus this is one of those things that Id rather a professional diagnose.

I think this is my next course of action if the trans fluid change does nothing. Theres about 60k on my gear, which is nothing. Not sure of the life of bearings.

As long as you have correct amount of fluid and change it every so often (assuming pinion preload is set correct and hasn’t drifted) I’d say at least 75k minimum.

ECGS said the same thing. They seriously don't think the bearing are causing my vibe.

Im going to rotate my tires too. Is the process for checking wheel bearings in front, the same as the rear?

    Checked for play, nothing.

Had a suspicion that driver rear tire was out of balance, so i swapped in my spare. Less vibes, but still something there. I do want to get all tires rebalanced. Maybe theres not enough weight in the bed to go along with the leafs and rear valving that I have with my shocks?

Maybe the trans service will help tomorrow, but highly doubt it. Thinking next up, I should get my driveshaft rebalanced?? After this, Im all out of ideas. I'll just ride it out I guess..

Garmin Zumo XT mount in the truck now too. Comm/Nav setup works so far. I should be testing it out this coming weekend

On the way out, found mud while traversing the border of VA/WV. Trail hadn't been driven in a while..
