negative, its a home built from the Ripcord Camper plans on this forum. It is base off of the GFC in a sense but uses square steel tube and off the shelf components I'm 80% done with it, just need to get fabric to make the tent and try and get the wedge sealed up better to combat the FL rain.

Been a minute for me too, now would be the worst time for Hardrock, all those steep clay hills would be a slippery, slidey, messy, body damagey disaster.

Maybe later this summer or fall after things have a chance to dry out a tad.

Citrus might be okay but also a sandy mud fest.

Yeah I've had my fair share of mud with my old truck, so am good with the fall when things are drier.

I actually grew up in Citrus Country like 2 miles from Trail10! Unfortunately, as a kid, I really took the offroading opportunities for granted. I didn't really get into 4x4 until after I moved away. And now that I'm in East Orlando I can't find anywhere to use my truck! lol

Nice to see some guys one here. Feel like the Florida Tacoma Community isnt as Strong as it should be. I had my previous 2017 Tacoma Sr5 Double Cab 2wd in black for almost 2 years. Months into owning my Tacoma i found out what a "Slider" is. LMAOO 72457 Tacoma Threads later i HAD to buy a 4x4 OR. Now i have a 17 page list of things im gnna do to this thing. Im on my work computer later ill post some pictures once im on my phone or Home PC. Well this afternoon when i leave work im gnna make my way to the "Citrus" area. Really been looking forward to a day of exploring in that area. Any input on where to go what to do or what not to do is greatly appreciated.

This is awesome y’all. Hopefully more use this thread/forum. More users mean more parts for sale lol. Currently looking for a decent set of used aftermarket wheels and tires but a lot of the ‘Florida Classifieds’ activity tend to be the Tampa area. Not far but… I just don’t want to do the drive lol

and FB marketplace is just absolute Garbage. Half the ads are missing tire size, wheel offset, wheel width. Some don’t even list PCD. And most of the time the pictures aren’t high enough res to zoom in on the sidewall.

I’m gnna be starting a new thread to see how much interest there is and what dates people prefer. And let’s see if we can get a day trip or maybe even an overnighted somewhere that would be fun to get to ? I feel like we have a solid 15 people that I know would be down.

I've gotta sub to this thread. I picked up my 2021 MGM Tacoma TRD OR last Monday after years of going off grid/camping and getting annoyed with the hassle of a 2wd car lol. Planning on building it out as a legitimate overlander to take on off road adventures but living in Orlando and being new to it all (4wd, tacos, etc), I've been trying to find places to hit.

As I'm sure you'll discover, off roading in Central FL is pretty limited. Ocala National Forrest, and the Everglades, are probably the most open, and camping unless it's in November to March can be brutal. Smaller areas can be found, and are fun. Congrats on the truck, and enjoy your build!!
