We got our first snow of the season here and I threw the truck into 4WD. Tried switching back, but all I've got going on is the 4WD indicator blinking green and its stuck in 4WD.

    I'm driving a Automatic '16 Sport SB.

I already scheduled an appointment with the dealership for Monday. But I'm wondering if it will be problematic to drive this weekend. As you might imagine, I will likely have to turn the wheel to get around.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
See other threads for advice on this issue. More common than you might think, and not necessarily a problem that can't be simply resolved.

Yes, I read the manual and did what it said to switch back and forth.

When my tacoma was frozen this morning when outside temps were in the teens. I had left it in 4wd the night before from the storm. 4wd would not disengage till the truck got to a certain temp....took several minutes. Otherwise it goes in 4wd, and out slicker than goose poop on a wet lawn in the warm weather. I'm assuming its normal for these tacos? My tundra did a lot of clunking, but didn't care how cold or warm the truck was.

Yeah, I was wondering what would happen when it warms up. I'm just curious if its an issue to drive this weekend.

Turning without a loose or slick surface will causing binding. In other words- if the pavement is clear, no don't drive it,, unless you're just driving it to get it fixed. A few miles messing with it won't hurt, but you don't want to go Christmas shopping all over town.
