Someone else suggested this earlier, problem is, if I don't like it then what? not like I can use some thinner and remove it without harming the pain on the bumper, ya know? I don't wanna risk not liking it and mess up my bumper to the point to where there's no fixing it

Don't get me wrong, I liked it a lot in the beginning but then it just go old. Every time I looked at my truck I didn't notice the emblem, the BHLM, the wheels, or anything, all I noticed was the skid plate. Maybe once I upgrade the skid with the engraved TRD I'll paint the TRD green or put some kind of stencil on this one. I got plenty of time.

On another note, thanks for everyone's input and suggestions!

    There ya go.

There's a radius change in the cup that creates a natural angle for masking.

Pop the housing out, mask around the edge, and shoot the inside.
With the housing popped back in, I think it will leave about 20% of the pocket colored. There's a thread on here somewhere about derping the same area.

Test-fit the look using vinyl or colored derp.

Live with it for a couple of weeks and if you like it, make it real.

I am expressing my opinion, sorry if it offended anyone. I painted a ton of stuff on my vehicle yellow in high school and looking back now I feel as if it were a little overboard. I don't know anyone's age therefore I just spoke based on my experience and tried to be a little humorous about it at the same time...lighten up

I'm not offended at all but at the same time every black truck I see has the blacked out emblems, lights, grills, tail lights, wheels, everything and not that there's anything wrong with that I'm just trying to set myself apart from them. Like I said, I've only had the truck for 5 weeks, I'm learning new stuff everyday, and right now some of it is just trial and error. When I was in high school (11 years ago, so no, I'm not a kid. I'm almost a full grown man) I didn't have a vehicle worth modding. I had an 88 s10 Blazer, 5 spd, 4x2, and it barely ran so my money was spent to keep it running and not modding. Now I finally have the truck I've always wanted and I'm having fun with it regardless of people's opinions. Not that I don't appreciate them cause I do, bad and good, but maybe I'm doing stuff that most won't want to. They may rather stay focused on suspension and I do have a lift ready to put on i just don't want to put too much money into the suspension since its not 4x4.

Yeah I got some along with a relentless ifs skid and that combo makes the front of the truck look really stout! I think it could be perfect for ur subtle detail work! Maybe like gunmetal lca skids with then BAMF letters green and then do ur idea of the green sketch on the ifs skid! It actually sounds pretty tight

That's actually not a bad idea, I'll keep that in mind. I really need to slow down on the mods lol, especially with getting married in less than 2 months haha
