Greenspan: US "Can Pay Any Debt It Has Because We Can Always Print Money"

the way I see it is if we produced everything here in America that we buy from China, our country would end up looking like this -



and our children would live like this -



their hands are always black because of all the soot in the air from the factories they live near. china's economy may be doing well, but that doesn't mean their standard of living is even close to ours. At least working class Americans can live in safe, clean neighborhoods, and not in "cancer villages" where 1/10th die of cancer every year from the pollution and exposure to chemicals in the factories they work in, regardless of age.

 

The government needs to get it's hands out of a lot of things. Every time they get in there things get worse. Housing loans, guaranteed student loans, job creation, etc. Every job the government has created recently has cost $278,000 each. If they actually cared they would be reducing the cost for businesses to operate, not giving tax breaks.

No, there's no way there's enough gold in the world to back all the world's currency with a precious metal. Those days are long gone.

Stuff like that is why I laugh when Ron Paul lovers, Tea Partiers, and other economic ignorants talk about going back to the gold standard...as though it's even possible without destroying the every economy in the world.

 

Our dollar goes down when we print money we have no backing for, like gold and silver but more gold. Our government is so in debt that we have to barrow like 5-6 billion from China EVERYDAY to cover our governments stupid spending and print money we do not have, with all our stupid departments in the government that we do not need in fact those "made up " departments only add to our total deficit

Another reason why the dollar is going down is the war on the so called "weapons of mass destruction, and terrorism " which was just a catalyst to go there any take their oil. US spends Millions and millions if not billions a day to support our American troops there for what? to police another country? when we cant even support our VETS from previous wars, and take care of our own infrastructure, and health situations and our own people. Were wasting our money on other countries when we SHOULD be using the money right here on our own homeland. Its retarded in what we are doing right now, we have more enemies in this world then ever before, before everyone was America`s friend now friends are few with greater enemies. We are just basically bullying everyone in this world and they are getting fed up with it. Our government is just so screwed up and greedy it makes me sick, common sense and our old constitution is out the door which is wrong and out right scary. Basically we are doing this to ourselves, as far as government.

 

Article 1 section 10.

It is illegal by our own constitution to make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debt.

Unless the Constitution of The United States of America is amended, we are still on a gold standard.
