    Greetings all,

John here from Southeast Virginia and a newly joined member.

I’ve had quite a few Toyota trucks that go all the way back to my high school days.

    These trucks include:

    Gone but not forgotten:

    1980 2WD
    1984 4WD SR5 - old knuckle truck
    1993 4WD SR5

    Currently own:

    1998 4WD SR5 Tacoma - still running strong
2021 Tacoma Off Road - new with a sweet 6 speed manual tranny
1971 FJ40 Land Cruiser - current restoration project.

So, I wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone. I can always use other’s expertise and not afraid to ask. Getting ready to do some tinkering on my old analog 1998 Tacoma that has never failed me. Besides basic maintenance, an idler pulley arm is the only failure on this 4 cylinder truck. It’s been an incredible machine and is my mistress. My new 2021 Tacoma Off Road will simply have to get over it.

    Happy New Year all!

    John
