Hey all, my name's Brooks and I'm from MD. I recently bought a 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport DCSB, and wanted to join this forum and get acquainted with you all. Truck has around 76k miles and is in awesome shape! A little background, I came from an '04 Tundra with around 109k miles on it. Truck was awesome to me, it was running super well and it looked awesome. Life sucks sometimes, and it sure did that day because I slid on a patch of ice or a wet spot, and it caused the truck to fishtail. Then I hit a dirt embankment on the side of the road, and the whole truck was ruined, but me and my passenger were both fine. Truck was unfortunately totaled, but got around 15k for the truck itself and another 2k from the body work that was supposed to be done on it since I had gotten hit a few months before, but it never got done. Anyways while it does suck, I'm looking forward to the Taco. I thought a newer tacoma would fit me better than a tundra because I feel like newer tacomas are more comparable in size to first gen tundras, while first gen tundras seem a lot smaller compared to the newer ones. Plus, I honestly like the look of the newer tacomas better, although I did like the look of my first gen. Anyways, enough about me, but I'm excited to be a part of the forum and get to know some of you guys! Let the maintenance and mods begin!

P.S. for all those wondering about Tundra some more, I have attached my thread from tundras.com which includes pictures and everything if you're curious: https://www.tundras.com/threads/tundra-down-final-farewell-most-likely.103003/

Well done! Your only problem is the $10k you’re about to spend on mods now :)
