    Hello folks,

New member here after lurking for a while.

While not an "official" Tacoma owner yet I'm currently in the market.
I'm not a Toyota noob though... Was first introduced to them when a company I worked for had a fleet of Hilux diesels back in the early 80's (They were pigs, but regularly ran for 500K miles plus).
My first Pickup was an 81 SR5 4x4 long bed (only vehicle I've owned that I wish I still had), then an 85 4x4 short bed (only vehicle I ever owned that I sold for more than what I paid for it), and currently still own a 94 4x4 that I purchased new... still runs like a top, but cancer has got the old girl & my wife has finally convinced me to get it off the driveway & look for something new (to me).
Only problem for me is trying to find the right Taco to pull the trigger on- Really want nothing older than a 2014 & looking to spend no more than 30K, but I want a MT & they seem to be few & far between (at least around these parts).
Anyway, will continue the search & bone up on the great information on this forum...

Welcome to TW...The year and price range that your wanting shouldn’t be a problem and as far as a M/T...Well they’re fairly common but it’s only available in short beds.
