    :wavey:

Feeling pretty happy so far with my "new to me" Tacoma.... 2001 Double Cab SR5 2WD. Wish it was 4WD but couldn't pass on it for $3200 (yeah, really). 153k miles, pretty much rust free for a 15 year Midwest truck. Frame was replaced in 2009 and it has a little bit of a crunchy spot in one of the cab corners that I'll be repairing soon and a little bit under the passenger side bed flare that I'll probably just treat and leave alone.

It's my first Taco, but definitely not my first Toyota.
    So far I've had:
    1994 Toyota pickup 4x4
    1982 Toyota pickup 4x4
    1985 Toyota pickup 4x4
    1991 Toyota 4Runner 4x4
    1994 Toyota Landcruiser

As much as I'll miss the Landcruiser (factory lockers are soooo nice), priorities have changed and I needed something to get my motorcycle to the track and back. I have promised myself that I'm not modding this and will just be using it to commute and crunch some miles... but.... well... yeah.

See if this works... here's the lineage.

First truck was a '94 Toyota pickup. Bought it with 80k miles, sold it with 180k. Only thing I ever did was a set of 31s and replaced the timing chain guides

Then I bought an '82 pickup 4x4 that I cut the bed off of (it was swiss cheese) and wheeled a bit and then sold for more than I paid for it while keeping the 33s

after that it was a '91 4Runner 3.0 that I lifted via LC80 rear springs and ball joint spacers and spray painted flat black much to my wife's dismay

and finally the '94 Landcruiser... bought it bone stock and forest green. Installed a 3" OME lift kit with Fox 2.0 shocks, replaced a head gasket and related stuff, Monstalined it (again, to the wife's dismay) and some other little things (roof rack, LED light bar, plasti-dipped wheels, etc, etc). Amazing vehicle, but it just didn't fit my life anymore with the horrible MPGs and needing to haul motorcycles...

Oh, forgot the '85. It came from AZ and was totally rust free and the one I never should have sold :(
