    Howdy All. Thought I would introduce myself. I am an aircraft mechanic by trade, and have loved Tacomas for about 20 years. I own a 2018 SR5, and for my purposes, I love it.

    Glad to see that there is a forum out there for enthusiasts. I have some minor modifications in mind, like new wheels and tires, perhaps some different running boards, and a leveling kit. But I am not sure where to start.

    I would probably like to start with wheels and tires. My taco came with 16” wheels. I prefer the look 18” to 20” wheels myself, and I prefer more street than off-road tire profiles. I also want them to be blacked out as well. I am ok with the diameter of the tires.

    So, I guess my question is, is there a guide to wheel and tire sizes that would be appropriate to fit my truck? I have no plans to lift it, just level it.

    As I said, I am an aircraft mech and restorer, but cars are not my thing.
