    Hi all,
    I'm Johnny.

First I have a confession to make. I'm a Jeep guy. But before you get the flamethrowers out, I'm not a Chrysler/Fiat/ or whoever makes them this week Jeep guy. I have a 76 CJ7 that I rebuilt and wheel. Albeit it's been a few years.

But I'm not here to hate on the Toyota. Quite the opposite. For the last three years a '93 Hilux 4x4 short bed reg cab 22re/ 5 speed has been my DD. It's still chugging along at 280,000 miles, but I convinced myself it was time to modernize a bit, so last weekend I picked up a 2016 OR. The only factory option is the tow package.

Now you have to bear in mind, I'm old school. All the computerized gadgets on this truck concerned me a bit, but everything is that way these days. I have to admit, I'm quickly becoming accustomed to the amenities! Especially the hand-in-the-door-handle unlock feature. (or whatever they call it.)
I've been doing a lot of reading on this site the last few weeks, hopefully becoming aware of issues to watch for, like the low tranny fluid levels that have been reported.
Figured now that I have one I should sign up and contribute anything I do or discover that may be of benefit to others.
    Anyway, that's all!
