    I came upon this forum while seeking advice for an issue that my 2016 Tacoma has. I just bought it from a dealer, it has 3K miles on it. It is OK, but I think I'm having some buyers remorse. The goofy transmission downshift while cruising along at 70 on level ground is really annoying, I see hundreds of similar complaints, but no surefire fixes provided. Hopefully enough people will create enough of a buzz that someone at Toyota will address the problem. The guy that signed off on this transmission should be fired. It does serve my needs well, I can fit 4 bikes in the 5' bed with the tailgate closed. It took some serious mods to a Voodoo bike bar, but it works.     Welcome!! Have you heard of the OVTune? I believe it's around $700 but has made people a whole lot happier with their tacoma.
