    Greetings all -
    been lurking here for quite a while (about a year) I figured why not and register an account.

    Anyhow - I do NOT currently own a tacoma - would like to own a tacoma 4X4 at some point. I currently own a 07 Camry SE which is not even a truck obviously. As mentioned been looking for a taco for a while but wow the proces on 1st gens are a bit outrages. I realize these trucks are nice and are simply dependable. I live in NE Ohio where about 5 months of the year we have snow on the ground. I have been wanting a new toy for a while but to be hinest I have been playing tug of war between a tacoma and a corvette. I know, I know two totally different animals. Anyhow I have owned trucks before but not never a Toyota.

    I like both, the 1st and 2nd generation tacoma 4X4's but checking private sellers, craigslist, ebay and the local dealers are high prices and when I do see something with a good price I find out a bit later it has a salvage title.

    Anyhow.. I am blabbing on and on.... :)
