New to "posting" on TW. Been hiding in the shadows reading threads for a few years now.

    Have a 2017 OR.

This was the truck when I first bought it used at 7,400 miles. $38k on the lot, got the price down to $29k. $32k out the door with 7 year, 100k bumper to bumper warranty, 5 year road hazard for the tires. Came with a tonneau(That I took off) and with Tyger Auto sliders.
    received_10215874849449962.jpg

A few weeks after I got it, I ran over a 6" bolt that punched through my tire. It proceeded to punch 4 perfect holes in the inner metal lining of my wheel. Looked like someone hit it with buckshot.

Road Hazard to the rescue! The warranty gave me $700 for 1 tire/wheel. So I decided to use it to upgrade to 17" TRD Wheels with Nito Grapplers. With military discount and some sweet talking the girl I was working with, I got the $1800 price tag down to $923 out the door. With a bonus 2 Year addition to my 5 year Road Hazard.

A few weeks after that I decided to get rid of the awful chrome grille and go for one of the BAMF grilles.

Pretty much all I have done to it thus far besides some small interior things.

Looking to upgrade the suspension, been following some threads on the old 2015 TRD Pro Bilstein packages. Just with I could find one. I'll settle with the Baja or the regular at this point.

Welcome to TW and thank you for your service! Word of caution: don't try to use those Tyger steps as sliders.

    It my pleasure to serve!

@boogie3478 Have some bad experience with them? I was never sure if they were sliders or not. The design seemed kind of "hybrid" to me. The slope on the underside of a slider but the step up top.

No I've never run them on my truck. They are more like beefy nerfbars than sliders though. True sliders will bolt or weld onto your frame and will be able to support the full weight of your truck.
