    New Tacoma owner, looking to choose some modifications to make the truck more versatile. Wanting to start with suspension, wheels and tires. Then go to engine, transmission upgrades. Primary use will be for a pop-up bed camper. No really serious offroad but certainly going to see some gravel and snow.

    Questions

    1. I don't see any suspension mods that would facilitate removing the leaf springs and going to a full coil-over, airbag setup with track bars etc. Anybody know of anything?

    2. Failing the complete upgrade, looking for suggestions for coil overs, airbags and other upgrades

    3. Next step will be engine. Don't want major horsepower but looking for upgrades to increase towing power and, perhaps, get better gas mileage. Turbo vs superchargers? Upgrade to oil and transmission coolers?

    4. Transmission and transfer case upgrades: whats available and what makes sense

    5. Seats and interior: Just trying to upgrade and get a better seat and more rugged interior.

    I know some of these questions reveal my newbie status but I am a quick learner. Don't need to have my choice of stupid questions pointed out. Courtesy begets courtesy. Love my new truck and want to get it ready to do some serious explorations. I will be towing a boat, probably a commercial RIB.
