greetz with 23 trd

Excited to get back to Tacos with a 23 TRD offroad I picked up yesterday. First brand-new ride since 05, first truck since a little before that, and first ever(!) automatic transmission.

Interested in audio and tech upgrades, camping duty, and maaaaybe light offroading. Not sure what is even possible near me, but I have been known to drive 6+ hours for a fun weekend.

I should probably fetch yall some pics! Well, maybe boring since it is bone stock, but sometimes the shine is good too.

 

Oh, one item I need for sure. Freaking floor mats. For some dumb reason it came from the dealer with none of that. Which is fine because I want big chunky rubbery ones that are super tough, but I would not have minded some weak cloth ones in the meantime so I could at least throw out the craftpaper "thank you" crap that is in there now LOL.

Other questions, what are the various audio systems that come in these trucks? I see "JBL" and "non-JBL" on this forum, tho the mfgr/dealer literature tended to use terms like "advanced technology package" and "enhanced sound". One way or another, kinda disappointed that I have no CD or aux jack, but I will survive.

Went and ordered the lower-end husky liner floormat, will see how it is. Local friend recommended the brand regardless of vehicle, will see how it goes compared to his sedan.

 

LOL it is a sport not an offroad, silly trim level names. I suppose I will remember the difference now.
