Still wont matter...if you clearance properly, you should have little to no rub at full stuff. S regardless of where the wheel is in its travel, lifted or no lift, you should be fine.

Either that or more cab clearance for some of the rock gardens out here. That's my main concern until I get sliders...

That's what is holding me back the most. That pesky driver side main bolt is a pain to take out, the swap alone make it not worth the hassle for the extra 0.5". Heck, even my gf said an extra half inch won't make a difference .....:D

Just get new UCA bolts from the dealer ($12 each at mine) and cut the stock ones out. Still difficult to put the new ones in, but at least you don't have to worry about taking the stock ones out.

Pull the battery and with a pry bar ease the inner fender out of the way, EZ-PZ.

That's what I did the first time around, things like that are always a PITA for me and are what really aggravate me!

Those tires and rims look sweet!

What did those tires do to your mpg. They are slightly bigger, but have a lot more rolling resistance.

Not sure yet - the only fill up I've made included a wheeling trip - and I got 16 mpg on that one which is about on pace with what it has been when I've made wheeling trips.

I actually drive like a grandma for the most part :D. I average about 18 mpg normally. The reason I was at 16 mpg is because the wheeling trip brought my mpg on that tank way down.

The reason I get about 18 mpg is because I do about 80 mph on I-25 from Castle Rock to Denver in my commute.

That's a fact! It's just so hard to do that when the speed limit is 75 :ballchain:

I'm really digging your ride. Just wondering if you have carried a decent amount of gear in the bed, does it sit level or sag in the rear?

Thanks! I've carried a bed full of camping gear for four and it rides level. I've also had the bed full of sod and it sat pretty level - a little bit ass low.

That's correct. Installing that damn AAL was worse than the front setup.

Thanks and congrats on the upgrade! What direction are you planning to go with your build?

First thing will be suspension. Icon Coilovers and Total Chaos UCA's
maybe doing Camburg 4" lift spindle but still undecided.
Rear: Icon 1.5" Add a leaf and 2.0 shocks. Should be a solid mid travel lift right around 3".

Im runnin 275/70/17 on my stock sport wheels now but going to upgrade to XD Series Addict's, i think, bc clearance is an issue at the moment.

Im sure I will find more $$$ to spend soon after that is done :D

Well wherever it is that you're finding your money, I'd love to join you in that! I'd love to have Icons and TC's! Have you checked out Airdog's build? His would be right in your ballpark.
