I'll be throwing some paint on the sliders this weekend. I'll be priming them and then going with some spray on bed liner.

I was actually in NYC this weekend, or I would have. I'll be painting them in our unfinished basement, though. So it won't be too bad.

Sliders primed, bed lined, and bolted on! I still need to drill the 6 holes and bolt on the bottom bolts, but that's another job for another day. I'll post some pics soon.

Bolted on the sliders. I'll be drilling the frame when I have more time for the last 6 bolts.

    Thanks!

Did you ever find the lift you were looking for? I noticed you were wanting between 1.5" and 2.5". I'm sure you've read most of my build, but my OME 884x and 1.5" AAL put me right at a 2" lift with a slight rake still. Sounds like what you're looking for.

only one problem with that, neither one of us has a winch so if we get stuck you better be ready for a long day of digging out :) Im excited to get some trips under my belt this wheeling season! Last season i didnt get out as much as i would like

    Wench or winch? Haha.

We'll just take someone who does have a winch!

Yes, thanks for your advice. I went with the OME 884x and 1.5 aal. I was a little apprehensive on installing the springs but that was the easy part I actually had a tougher time wrestling with those add-a-leafs, lol. I also used Bilstein 5100s instead of the OME shocks. On a side note, I'm going to be ordering a camper shell next week and was wondering if you lost any of the rake in the rear with yours? We like to go camping and with the gear plus the shell I hope the rear won't be sagging.

I had the same issue with the install. The front was a cake walk, it was the AAL's that sucked.

I'm sure I lost a little rake, but not much at all. Last time I loaded it down with camping gear for 4 and 4 people the truck sat level. That, however, was pre-shell. I imagine if you have a loaded bed there might be a little bit of sag.

    Sam,

I just bought the same OME setup other than the rear leaf you have. I went with the ICON 1.5 leaf pack. I'm running 265/70R17 with Toyo Open Country AT2's. What's the reason you are running the sway bar relocation kit?

I see that typically the OME kit comes with the diff drop and some have the carrier bearing drop kit. Are you running either of those? If not, why did you decide not to use them? Thanks
