    Talked to a paintshop today and they told me it wasnt a good idea to paint my grill myself :confused:. I want to see what you guy think should i go for it or just buy a new one? Thanks

    well if you can find a body shop, then go for it.

    but i was gonna say, as long as you do the right prep work, painting it will not be too hard and the paint WILL stick. its all a matter of how well you go about sanding, priming and then clear coating.

    I painted the center portion of my grill, good for a year so far.
    the cost was for some scotch brite and a good plastic spray paint.

    scuff sand, clean good, paint. its only plastic.

    DIY and save $$$.Will be easier to do touchups later since you have the paint. Can't do that if a shop does it. Rock chips will be unavoidable over time regardless if a professional shop does it.
